Pardon me for posting this one up again, but I really think it's my favorite version ever of Tom Thumb Blues.
It's from 4-27-85 at the Frost @ Stanford.
Note the "We Want Phil!" chant going on in the beginning until the fat man steps up to the mic and informs the crowd that "We're hanging on to him for a while...He's ours!"
The sound on this one is just so perfect. You really get a feel for this era which is, as my friend Cody notes, my favorite for the boys. Beyond that, and shows at Winterland or The Coliseum notwithstanding, Frost and Greek performances just seemed to have a nice 'show in the park' feel to them for some reason, as far as I'm concerned. More relaxed.
