I don't always catch the live broadcast of Face the Nation on Sundays.It comes on here in Cleveland at the same time as Meet the Press and CBS insists on making it the shortest of the Sunday shows at 1/2 hour, so it usually gets relegated to podcast territory.
But I always enjoy Bob Schieffer. He's one of those guys who comes off as an old school reporter and keeps whatever real political beliefs he has as far away from the table as is reasonable.
I was glad to read this afternoon that there's no definite retirement date yet...he had previously said he was going to ride off into the sunset after the next President gets sworn in.

CBS had to do a quick "Roto-Rooter" on his butt, however, he's fine now.
