People's idiocy never ceases to amaze me in this country...
In this country?
Those guys look like Itals!
Since when is idiocy the merging of religious and pop culture images?
I think its brilliant. To be able to effectively pt the two together, likely on the spot, shows a deep understanding of both spheres (as well as a sense of humor).
Brilliance is a a few frat guys taking a stupid picture in a museum?
You have a very small world view that's probably dominated by Bud Light commercials as art, if you think this is brilliance.
(In my best Mick Jagger voice...)
People, people. Why are we fighting?
Now I see how the crusades started.
No need for the personal attacks.
Calling something stupid does not make it so. Much like saying Iraq had WMD did not make it so.
Why is it stupid?
Not saying that they themselves are brilliant, but the juxtaposition of these two elements is clever (at a minimum).
It illustrates two important things: the separation of religious and pop cultural imagery, as well as the false idol worship (similar to the sentiments that spawned The Reformation).
Just because taking a dump is unglamorous, does not mean that the biological anatomy and physiology are not fascinating, interesting, or brilliant.
Despite posting as Anon, I would appreciate actual counterpoints rather than personal attacks. I think I gave you enough ammo. :)
