It's still hard to believe this tape is so old.
In one of their magnificent performances at the defunct Fillmore East in February 1970, Jerry and the boys perform Wake Up, Little Susie.
I was going to put up Simon and Garfunkel's version from the famed Concert in Central Park because it's cleaner and more popular, but this one has kind of a charmingly rough edge to it as well as a little higher ranking on the novelty scale.
I'll get some other S&G in the coming week, perhaps. I have a sweet show they did at Miami University in November of 1969 that I've been listening to this week.
