I could have been wrong about the viability of the Thompson strategy.
To me, he's seemed pretty disinterested on the campaign trail and debates. I don't know if this is just his demeanor or part of a calculated strategy to play the role of the grownup in the room.
Either way, after the Fox debate on Thursday night, which I have my own problems with, people on the weekend shows seem to be chatting up his performance more and more...and mentioning him as a viable conservative alternative to the Huck...who some people, myself included, just can't quite see in the Oval Office.
I really don't know what the next few months are going to bring, and we're not exactly ideologically soulmates, but he's better than most of them out there now.

As your other posted commented, you should really consider a vote for Fred. However, I think that was in the context of Dr. Paul.
However, I would argue that Dr. Paul is a much more viable and realistic candidate at this time. No matter how much Fox tries to reinstitute Fred's run, he is not viable. At least Dr. Paul has a chance to break double digits in several states.
I think Rove was talking about Fred when he said that he was lazy. Too lazy to enter the race, and too lazy to really tell anyone why they should vote for him.
p.s. I thought the 2 reasons were an overt reference to the low cut dress...
That was my attempt at a cheeky joke ;-)
I can't figure Fred out yet..but am really fascinated by how people have started talking more about him this week.
Who on earth in their right mind thinks Ron Paul it viable?
He's even crazier than Kucinich!
