I guess it's a Two-fer Tuesday here...the Zevon reference in the Californication posting got me reflecting back on another lost gem whose music moves me.
You have to hand it to anyone who can put out a rockin' song like this while you're dying of cancer, you can bring The Boss in on the tune, and you can get in this kind of a reference...

I agree, its a great album. Any other Warren recommendations?
You know what, his estate, after he died, released his boots to the Archive. There's lots of good live stuff out there and anything is good, IMO.
I was looking for a video of "Things to do in Denver When You're Dead" (yes, the man had a dark sense of humour...one of his other late-career songs was "My Shit's Fucked Up") but could not find it.
But I'd recommend some of the live stuff...not that you'd have a hard time guessing that from me! ;-)
