The New Republic has a cool profile of David Plouffe, who some think is the brains of his outfit (rather than David Axelrod, who should more appropriately be credited with kickstarting Obama's career.)
I don't have a hell of a lot to comment on with this article except that it's really interesting how, when a campaign begins winning, everything down to a strategically dropped fart after Mexican food seems like a genius move, but on the losing side, jumping out of the way of a semi- leads to the "yeah, but what if..." second-guessing.
