CNN and other outlets are running an otherwise-routine "ugly American" AP story this morning about the US squad showing up at the Pan Am Games in Brazil with a sign insulting to the locals.
The US has sent home the worker responsible for the "Welcome to the Congo!" sign.
Good for them.
But the AP went out looking for the locals' opinion on this story and got it from one Ms.(?) Alessandra Teixeira, described in the article as a model.
"Americans are full of prejudices. Everything for them is bad, and they make it worse."
Curiosity got the best of me, so I looked around to see what kind of Brazilian Beach Babe would hold such an opinion of us Yankees.
