Today would have been Hank Williams' birthday...but the poor chap didn't make it past age 29...another person who had a vicious love affair with bottles and pills...It's remarkable, the influence he's had over rock and country given only a few years of recording like that.
The Grateful Dead covered a lot of different artists in their time and one of my favorites was Williams' "You Win Again." Unfortunately, I did not have time to post a video of this before I left for work, so I'll have to try and do it later on this evening.
