Did my civic duty...

Just got back from voting, as well. No lines -- arriving late was a good strategy. (Plus, I live in a small town.)

Helping the Obama campaign knock on doors all afternoon to get the lazybutts to the polls.

That's not a nice way to talk about Democrats.

I went too, when the polls opened at 7:00. The line was already around the block. Took about an hour and a half to get through.

Funny thing, I had "We shall overcome" in my head the whole time. Really quite fascinating.

I think I may have been humming aloud too as my wife jabbed me with her elbow.

In Cleveland proper, I actually walked right in, no waiting...which is odd. Talked with friends in Willoughby and Solon and each of them had crazy lines.

I was looking out the kitchen window occasionally and there were maybe 20 people waiting right when the poll opened, but after that, it's been thin.

Curious to see what it's like after (most people) work.
