What's funny is when I see comments online from people who actually live in socialist countries who think that Americans are morons for calling Barack a socialist. Maybe people just use "socialist" the same way that I use "dumbass" to describe Palin.

I think it's just interesting how all politics is local, as that "socialist" line was DOA here, but it seems to be getting quite a bit of traction out there in that swing state of yours.
And we thought you liberal Nordics were more likely to engage in swinging.

Honestly, the socialist thing drives me bananas...esp when people whose opinions (on more than politics) I normally respect.
